Five days at Florida

June 15, day at Florida

This morning I flew to Jacksonville. The flight took 30 minutes. The plane landed at the Jacksonville international airport and the cab took me to the Holiday inn Express Hotel, where I left my luggage. Then I went to the beach. The weather was wonderful. The beach was beautiful and the water was warm. Such are days in Florida. I swam all day and in the evening I went to dinner at a small local restaurant, the French Pantry. I met the one nice man who came to talk to me. He also introduced me to his friends. The man was Jamie. He was really friendly and handsome. When we were leaving, he said, that he comes to pick me up in the morning for the city tour.

June 16, day at Florida

Jamie and I drove by car around the Jacksonville city. I saw many wonderful sights for examble Pablo Historical Park, Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, Fort Clinch State Park and Jacksonville Expo Center. Later we went together to watch the American football game. Jamie's favourite team was Jacksonville Jaguars. It was amazing day.

June 17, day at Florida

 I woke up early, because Jamie and I went to capital of Florida, Tallahassee. We went to visit the Florida State University. Jamie studied there for two academic years. We saw his old school friends. School was huge and there was a beautiful fountain in the courtyard. Jamie graduated as a doctor. He said that he was one of the best students in school. I really believe that. He was so smart. Then we went to eat at the restaurant, Azu Lucy Ho's.

June 18, day at Florida


Today was little sad 'cause I had to go back home to the next morning. So I really enjoined this day. Jamie and I went to play golf at the Bent Creek Golf Course. I'm not very good at the golf but Jamie was a good teacher. And the golf course was awesome.




June 19 day at Florida

Today I didn't have time to do much but decided to do something else, like just pack up. Jamie and I went to the beach to play volleyball with his friends. Then we went still for a short city tour together, and finally we went to the breakfast at the same restaurant where we met. This was the best holiday trip ever and I will miss this.

Two days at Kansas

June 13, day at Kansas

Today I flew to Kansas City international airport. I slept in the Capri Motel but before I joined a guided tour in the capital of Kansas, Topeka. Did you know that Topeka means "a good place to grow potatoes"?
I saw the Brown v. Board of Education National Historic Site, Old Priarie Town and Heartland Park Topeka. In the evening went I to dinner to a cool restaurant, Via's Pizzeria.

After dinner I was so tired, that I fell asleep immediately.

 
 

June 14, day at Kansas

Today I went to visit to the largest city in Kansas, Wichita. The city was founded on July 21, 19870. I walked aroun the city like usually. I visited the Wchita garden, Potanica and the Sedgwick County Zoo. Them were both great places but I liked more the zoo. I didn't have time to be there for long, because I had to go by plane to Florida.

Four days at Colorado

June 9, day at Colorado

I arrived this morning to the airport of Colorado. Denver is the capital of Colorado. It was cool place. My hotel was Warwick Denver Hotel. First day I just walked around the city and I went to some nice small restaurant. There was a lot of great sightseenings for example Aspen ski resort and museum of Buffalo Bill. Aspen is a popular holiday destination and in particular many Hollywood stars spend their free time there.

June 10, day at Colorado

Then other day I rented to car and I went to drove around the mountains of Colorado. It was great place and the weather was good.

June 11, day at Colorado

Today I went to watch a local basketball match. Denver Nuggets is only basketball team of Denver. It was great match. Team in the history of the most famous players are Alex English, Dan Issel, David Thompson, Allen Iverson and Carmelo Anthony. Team hasn't won any NBA championships.

June 12, day at Colorado

 

Today I rented a car and I drove to the rocky mountains. Mount Elbert is the highest mountain in the rocky mountains.The mountain peak is 4 401 meters above sea level. The scenery was beautiful and the weather was cool.

One day at Arizona

June 8, day at Arizona

Today I flew from California to Arizona, Phoneix Sky Harbor airport. Then I was at the Phoenix I went to visit to Arizona´s national park Grand Cayon. It was the hugest and coolest place that I had ever seen pefore. I took so many pictures. 

Later I went to Palomar Phoenix City Scape, a Kimpton hotel and I left my luggage there.

 
Then I went to buy ticket to a basketball game. My favourite basketball team is Phoenix Suns. It was amazing day. I really liked it. And I took pictures, of course. 

 I had go to bed early, because the flight leaves at three o'clock in the morning.


  

Three days at California

June 5, First day at California

Today I flew to California. I started my trip from Helsinki, in Finland and I flew to Los Angeles International Airport. When I was at the airport, I took a cab and then I went to my Hotel.
Hotel is Luxe City Center Hotel.

June 6, Second day at California

First day I was so tired and I just went to sleep, when I was at Hotel. Next Morning I woke up and I went to visit to Hollywood. It was amazing. I took so many photos and I met my favourite movie star. I walked down the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

 At evening I came back to my Hotel and I went to swim at my Hotel's water pool.

June 7, The third day at California:

Today I was visiting San Francisco. It was a fabulous place. I got a tour on the cable car and then I went to Alcatraz Island. Alcatraz prison was built in year 1850. There was the most notorious criminals in the United States.My plane left in the evening from the airport to
to Arizona.
